Truthbrush - the award-winning beautiful bamboo toothbrush! This signature brush was designed on the edge of Dartmoor and comes in a palette of nature inspired colours with plant-based bristles. Each Truthbrush is finished with a coat of natural plant oil to make them smooth and water resistant. The brushes are hand wrapped in tissue and a fully recyclable pillowpack.
The Truthbrush is made from Moso bamboo which grows up to a metre a day! It's FSC (Forestry Stewardship Certified) - it comes from sustainably and responsibly managed forests in China.

We love Truthbrush bamboo toothbrushes because they are crafted from sustainable, organic bamboo which is naturally anti bacterial. The Truthbrush is beautiful, luxurious and the medium bristle toothbrushes will biodegrade back to soil without leaving microplastics behind.
How to use and dispose
To dispose of your bamboo toothbrush, simply snap off the head or pull out the bristles with a pair of pliers and either place the handle in the garden waste bin or home compost. Medium bristles can also go in the home compost but may take a while to decompose. Soft bristles need to go in the normal rubbish for now. (Truthbrush are working hard to find a suitable alternative for the soft bristles which removes the plastic element - nylon).Or, why not re-use the Truthbrush in any creative way you can. Plant canes and paint stirrers are just a couple of examples of how you can give your Truthbrush a second life.
To give your brush a longer life, don't leave the brush standing in water.
Ingredients
- FSC Organic Bamboo toothbrush handle
- Soft bristles are 62% castor oil and 38% nylon (dentists generally recommend soft bristles, due to the nylon these are not plastic free)
- Medium bristles are 100% castor oil (making them officially plastic-free)
