Why we love Ocean Bottle
Every Ocean Bottle bought funds the collection of 1000 plastic bottles in weight. Plastic is collected by locals from some of the worst affected coastal communities such as Haiti, the Philippines, Brazil and Indonesia, who then exchange the plastic for money or receive digital credit to swap for tuition, tech goods, healthcare and micro-finance. This infrastructure is made possible with help from partners Plastic Bank who set up collection sites and ensure transactions to collectors are secure through IBM Blockchain technology. Care Instructions
The Ocean Bottle can be cleaned as much as you like. Since the bottle is dishwasher safe, feel free to remove the cap, open the larger opening, take out the seals and place all the pieces in the dishwasher. We’d also recommend hand washing for a light scrub with warm water and soap after use and drying and storing it with the top off. The double opening means you can fit a normal scrubbing brush without having to buy a special purpose cleaner. After washing your Ocean Bottle, we recommend that you dry by airing it out upside down and storing it with the lid off.Eliminating ocean-bound plastic
