We wanted to share some awesome news today – Bower has been re-certified as a B Corp for the next 3 years!
Bower first certified as a B Corp back in 2021. In order to achieve certification as a B Corporation, we had to meet rigorous social and environmental standards which represent our firm commitment to putting people and planet first.
So last year (2024), we had to begin the process for recertification which happens every 3 years. We are delighted to announce that not only have we successfully re-certified, but that we’ve significantly increased our B Corp score from our original score of 98.5 up to 105.7. The threshold score for certification is 80 points, so we are well ahead of that bar!
This demonstrates that all the hard work we’ve been putting in over the last 3 years has set us up to be really robust around governance and driving our high ethical and sustainable standards as a business.
